Comfort Food: Linguine Aglio e Olio

We treated ourselfes with a special lunch today - we can only eat garlic in greater quantities if Iris does not work the next day.
This is comfort food of the highest degree - unhealthy but great tasting. In my opinion the best way to eat pasta.
You can use any "long type" pasta for this, we used Linguine this time, the traditional is using Spaghetti.
For two you need:
  • 250g Linguine or Spaghetti
  • Olive Oil (the best you can get)
  • 10-15 cloves of garlic
  • 1 Chili (optional)
On the table:
  • Sea Salt (or better: Fleur de Sel)
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Salad (you do want salad with it!)
Boil the pasta for 10 minutes in saltwater. Chop the cloves of garlic and the chili, then fry for about 2 minutes in hot olive oil. Add the pasta, mix everything for another minute. Finito!
At the table add individually salt and Parmesan Cheese. Enjoy!
